ME/CFS Society of WA: Society President Interviewed on 6PR

The Society's President, Colin Neathercoat, was featured on 6PR's Drive Time late this afternoon. Colin, recovered after a 24 year battle with ME/CFS, is running in Sunday's City 2 Surf hoping to raise awareness of ME/CFS as well as the availability of effective treatments for the disease.

Asked if he was still nervous about relapsing when running Colin responded; "I'm gaining confidence every time I run. For 24 years even the most trivial amount of exercise has played havoc with my health -it's cost me two careers. But I really have this disease beaten and haven't had any ill effects so far, even after pushing myself hard."
